PremaLabs Diagnostics announces the appointment of Gary McLean as Chief Scientific Officer.
Gary is a highly distinguished scientist with a strong history of success leading research in viral vaccines and immunology, backed by an exhaustive list of peer-reviewed publications, industry collaborations, grant supports, patent filling, book chapter contribution, and oral presentations.
Throughout his career, Gary has successfully guided biomedical innovation, shaped experimental design and analysis, and led the publication of scientific papers in line with industry-specific vaccine development strategy. His expertise involves Molecular Immunology, Respiratory Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Rhinovirus Infections, Clinical Research & Trials, Virology, Pathology, Epidemiology, Vaccinology, mRNA Techniques, Antibodies, as well as the recent SARS-CoV-2 Mutations and Variants.
He was invited to share his expert opinion on over 150 radio, television, print, and online interviews during the COVID-19 pandemic. Until joining PremaLabs he was Professor of Molecular Immunology at LMU. He is now Professor Emeritus at LMU and retains his role as Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Imperial College London.
On his appointment, Gary said: “I love scientific discovery and applying that to making improvements to human health.
